Avatar, Tales of..., Yu-Gi-Oh

I've been seeing Avatar stuff on commercials and shows a lot. I don't know if the movie's any good or not (mostly due to being not interested and I have a bad habit of guessing the plots of movies), but I'm certain of one thing.

It is heavily, HEAVILY, advertised to the extent I'm finding it annoying.

Enough about that though, I recently realized one of my lesser obsessions turned into full-blown obsession within the last month. The obsession? The "Tales of..." series.

It started with "Symphonia", then "the Abyss", then "Vesperia", then "Radiant Mythology". To be fair, "Radiant Mythology" was an accident. A good one! It was a good accident! I mostly got that game due to being interested in "Symphonia" and "the Abyss" and having a game where you create your own charater and have them team up with characters from those games as well as more? I was sold and went to at least five different shops in search of that game. Used or not, I wanted that game and finally got a hold of it. This was months ago by the way.

The fact I have a crush on Kratos Aurion and was not passing up a chance to team up with him was another factor.

Getting to the point, it was due to "Radiant Mythology" that I got more interested in the other "Tales of..." games. I recently got my hands on "Legendia" and was pretty sure people were giving me strange looks because I kept going 'Kyaa!' and rubbing it against my face. The evil laughter and constant 'It's mine, MINE!' probably didn't help too. It's not my fault I wanted to play it solely for the fact Senel Coolidge is in it.

My newest goal is to collect as many "Tales of..." games as I can for the systems that I have.

A connection to that goal is writing threatening letters (that I never send because I'm sure I'll get in trouble and end up in jail) to whoever it is that is responsible for bringing the "Tales of..." games over to America. My demands are great (and getting greater) which is not good actually because the more demands add, the more threatening the letter gets.

As I was waiting in line to purchase "Legendia", my mind wandered to the latest Yu-Gi-Oh game released that I saw as I was...looking (I swear I wasn't looking for games in an overly obsessive manner, really, I wasn't!) for more potential games, I remembered to the last Yu-Gi-Oh game I bought which was for my PSP. This wasn't good as I inwardly seethed from remembering how cheap the game is. THE GAME WAS MAKING ME DRAW USELESS CARDS THAT AREN'T WORTH ANYTHING WITHOUT MONSTERS JUST CAUSE I WON A LOT AGAINST WEAKLINGS AND TOOK THEIR CASH! TOTALLY UNFAIR!!!

I think that was the reason I stopped playing my Yu-Gi-Oh game and went back to "Radiant Mythology". I still don't know if that was a good thing or not since I have a bad habit of saying 'I'll find it even if it kills me!' in public. That and the yelling of 'YES! IT'S MINE!' when I find said games in stores.

Welps, my obsessions are still in full gear which is bad sometimes, but that's okay. It does wonders for my anxiety problems and maybe some of my depression. I always forget all my problems when I'm either curled up with a good book or killing monsters for money in a game. It's always fun to come back to reality some other time. I know I'm not right in the head when I need games to keep me sane as one of my outlets. XP

Wisdom Teeth Removal Aftermath

I should first clarify something.

My wisdom teeth were cut out, CUT I said. They never surfaced and hid under my gums and angled really weirdly. They were cut out and people seem to think when I say "cut" I mean "removal" and as such, have different ideas on how it was removed.

They're in a nice box now sitting there for as long as I keep them...or forget where I put them.

Anyways, I got my wisdom teeth removed on a Friday. Not yesterday's then I'd still be recovering, it was last week's Friday. I want to thank all my family and friends for being supportive while I was in my knocked out state. Oh, and my bloaty state too. My puffy face was darn funny. XD

Anyways, my knocked out state, hm...maybe I should make it fainting state. I was really faint from the drugs they'd given me and lack of food in my systems. I really didn't eat much after the surgery, only the pain killers they prescribed to me and a ton of water. I had to change my ice pack since it melted between less than and four hours. I was a bit groggy, but I do know my dad helped me change them as well as my brother.

Anyways, during the times I was awake I didn't eat much since it was hard and my mind was groggy. I even attempted to go back to classes on the coming Monday, which was a bad idea. I survived my first class barely, but had no more energy for the others since I ended up almost fainting. I couldn't even take a bath without almost fainting, but I think that one was due to hunger.

Yeah, hunger. I couldn't eat much, which now that I think about it, it was more like I couldn't stomach much. My body felt too tired, but it knew I had limited energy and needed to replenish that energy. I mean, I even ended up crying, CRYING, one night and the only reason I could come up with is that it was my body telling me to eat more. Not much could go through my mouth anyway. I had mostly liquid foods and mostly drank water. Water helps, but doesn't satisfy, the hunger. It was only tempoarily appeased it until I could get knocked out again.

I didn't cry only from hunger though, there was also this pain on the my face's right side. Which led to the conclusion my right side seems to attract a lot of pain for being my dominant side. So troublesome. XP

There was pain, which was what the pain medicine was for. I was pretty much knocked out and rested. I know I saw people who came over and wish I could have stayed awake longer for them, but I ended up sleeping most of the time. MY body felt heavy and cold, I wore layers and three blankets in an attempt to get warm. My face was burning hot though and the puffy cheeks were proof.

Puffy cheeks were okay, but the weren't supposed to be swelled for the amount of time I had them. So, we went to the doctors and he looked them over. I ended up with even stronger pain medication (which knocked me out, but only for a little while since my body got used to it) and antibiotics as a precaution.

Overall, I didn't like my wisdom teeth removal aftermath. Why? I had to skip a week of school. This wouldn't be a big deal, if it was a bit EARLIER in the semester or AFTER the semester.

WHY DID PEOPLE HAVE TO RESCHEDULE TO FIT THEIR SCHEDULES??!! WHAT ABOUT ME?! I'M THE ONE WHO WAS THREATENED AND GUILT TRIPPED THIS WHOLE FRIKKIN SEMESTER ON BEING SURE TO GET FRIKKIN GOOD GRADES!!!

My point? When a dentist suggests the removal of your wisdom teeth, be sure to have it scheduled during a week long break or at a time convenient to you. Not that it matters much, everyone has different experiences. My experience just inconvenienced me. I mean, there was a friend who had the same operation on the same day as me (different place though) and he was fine on Monday. I'm just unlucky. Not that I didn't expect it, I was actually expecting it too.

Now if everyone will excuse me, I will not go and feel around my mouth for the dissolving stitches and strings. I do not want to eat more of them accidentally and I'm pretty sure I did while sleeping.
